Martin Geller has had a long career designing on-air and print work for the television and entertainment industries. Clients have included NBC, ABC, CBS, VH-1, advertising agencies, national magazines, major music recording labels and book publishers. His television work has included "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", "Saturday Night Live", "Dateline NBC", "Today", VH-1 and Paramount Television.
Martin's illustrations have appeared in "Psychology Today", "New York" and on Off-Broadway posters, as well as for The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Three of his Bauhaus posters are seen in the movie "Dream Scenario," produced by A24, starring Nicolas Cage. Martin has received New York Emmy Awards for his work in television and numerous national awards for his work in Print. In 2010, after a 35-year tenure at NBC, Martin retired from the network. In the Fall of 2011, he started his YouTube channel, Blue Lightning TV Photoshop which currently has over 1 million subscribers. His Photoshop tutorials have been published on Adobe's official website and dozens of Photoshop-related sites and blogs. Drawing inspiration from a diversity of 20th-century art genres, Martin continues to create original designs, compositions, and posters many of which have been exhibited and sold in art galleries as well as printed on merchandise by a variety of companies including Urban Outfitters, Redbubble, Society6, Mixtiles, Gustave Paris, and Bonfire. |
